A rocket launcher in a terrorist training camp? Who'd'a thunk it?!

And here’s another thing that's been ticking me off about the majority of Americans stranded in Lebanon.

While they are in Lebanon, they are "Americans".

Once they reach Cyprus or the other transit points, or are back in the US, or when their families here are interviewed on TV and radio, they are "Lebanese-Americans".

Either you are American, or you are not. If you are a U.S. citizen, you are an American. You might have originally been from Lebanon, or “of Lebanese descent”, but if you are a legally a citizen, then you are an American.

Theoretically, being American should make one against terrorism and the terrorists who have the stated intent of killing Americans, but, hey, obviously I’m wrong.

How else to explain why purported Americans will vacation in a country that supports terrorism by protecting and supporting the terrorists in its midst?

If the good people of Lebanon want to stop getting bombed, they have to expose those terrorists – including their family members who are lobbing Katyushas over the border.

Blaming Israel—the Jews—and the U.S. for your problems is just the same old fundamental Arab bullshit, which feeds of the habit of a people who blame others for their own failure to take personal responsibility for the situation in which they find themselves.

The Hezbollah just launched a new type of Iranian-supplied rocket, one that can travel farther than the Russian-made Katyushas. One fell yesterday in the town near where I lived.

Am I the only one who thinks that along with longer-range rockets, Iran has probably also supplied the Hezbollah with the material needed to make dirty bombs?

Oh, but there is good news: Three weeks after the Hezbollah attacked an Israeli outpost and kidnapped two Israeli soldiers, and 18 days after the Hezbollah started bombing Israel, the Lebanese army found ONE rocket launcher, near a PFLP camp.

(The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, founded in 1967, is one of the two major terrorist organizations making up the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). Gee, I can see why it would have taken the Lebanese army THREE WEEKS to get around to looking in a terrorist training camp. You can probably figure out why I am finding it hard to believe that they only found ONE launcher there.

You are either part of the solution, people, or you are perpetuating the problem. It is that simple.

Melissa, it's unfair to say that the people of lebanon must continue to be bombed until Hezbollah is destroyed. It would be as bad as an Arab ("bullshitter" as you so inhumanely claim) saying that the people of Israel must continue to be bombed as long as they occupy Palestinian land.

Just be a bit fair in your outlook. People in lebanon have lost their homes and family, just as the people of northern israel have had their houses bombed. The civilans always lose during these wars. Please keep that in mind, and don't go around accusing people of being terrorists without justification. The jewish state has only recently (sunday) killed 65 people, of whom 28 were children...someone could easily accuse the israeli army of carrying out terrorist activities.

Let's just watch our mouths, stop pointing fingers, and pray for an end to this ordeal.

Please remember: along with launching the attack that killed 8 IDF soldiers and kidnapping two survivors, Hezbollah then starting shooting rockets and mortars into Israel's cities, with the intent to kill civilians, including women and children.

Until such time as the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish world is as outraged at the terrorist killings of Jewish children, terrorists who are actively supported by the people they hide themselves among and by governments such as Syria and Iran, I will have a hard time changing my mind.

Where is the world's outrage now at the killing of Israeli children? Where was it during each and every homicide bombing of the last 30 years? Where was it in 1974 when PFLP terrorists held a school full of children hostage, killing as many of them as they could before an IDF special forces team go in there to bring the situation to an end?

And why did the PFLP commit this act? They were demanding the release of their terrorists brothers--and one of the Japanese terrorists (trained in guess where? Lebanon!) who in 1972 shot up and grenaded Lod airport, killing 29 people (including Christian pilgrims). Oooo, lots of world outrage about Lod, killing innocent Christians. Not so much about the Jews who were killed that day.

Until the killing by terrorists of an Israeli Jewish child means as much to the world as the collateral death of an Arab child by a country defending itself, someone has to be outraged. Apparently, that's me, as it for sure is not the U.N. or most of the august members therein.

Dorian, as much as we would like to believe that the fundamental sons of Ishmael will learn to play nice with their Western neighbors, it was never going to happen, not unless the Moslem world as a whole brings pressure to bear upon them. But they are content to sit back and let Israel and the U.S. play the heavy. That is what is going to lead to war: failure to take responsibility for what is going on in their own compounds.

We should only use in our pet's eyes what our pet's vets have told us to use. If an eye needs to be flushed due to dust irritation, sterile saline eye wash can be used, but if the condition causing an eye to be inflamed or gunky continues after that, you need to get the ig to your reptile vet.
